PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: August 3, 2026 · Last updated: August 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Locker Room (“The Locker Room,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our football training and social application and related websites (the “Service”). “The Locker Room” is a temporary operator name used while the service is in development.

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

  • IP address and online identifiers.
  • App usage data such as pages viewed, features used, streaks, sessions and interaction timestamps.
  • Server logs, crash reports and diagnostic data.

2. How We Use Information

  • Create, operate and secure your account.

  • Power social features including friends, messaging, comments, likes and leaderboards.
  • Store, process and display media you upload.

3. Uploads & Storage

Photos, videos and other files you upload may be stored by The Locker Room and by contracted cloud hosting and storage providers acting on our behalf. Even after you delete content, copies may remain in routine backups, logs or caches for a limited period before they are overwritten or expire, and may be retained longer where required for legal, safety or dispute-resolution purposes.

4. AI Coach Features

When you use AI features such as the AI Coach, the messages you submit and the context necessary to answer them (which may include limited profile or training details) may be transmitted to contracted AI service providers in order to generate responses, and to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the feature.

Please do not submit highly sensitive information — such as medical records, government identifiers, financial account numbers or other confidential data — to AI features. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional advice.

We do not make representations about whether providers use submitted content to train their models. Provider terms vary and may change; this Policy will be updated as our providers and their terms are finalized.

5. Analytics & Diagnostics

We may use analytics, logging and crash-reporting tools to understand performance, engagement, feature usage and stability. These tools may collect device data, identifiers, IP address and event data about how the Service is used. We describe these tools by category because our providers may change; we will update this Policy as integrations are finalized.

6. How Information Is Shared

  • Service providers: companies that help us host, store, secure, analyze, moderate, deliver email for, or provide AI features within the Service, acting under contract on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of users, the public or The Locker Room — including cooperating with law enforcement in cases of imminent harm or exploitation.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • At your direction: content, profile details and interactions you choose to post or send are shared with the recipients or audiences you select.

We do not sell personal information for money.

We cannot promise that no information is ever shared — operating a social service necessarily involves sharing with providers, recipients and, where legally required, authorities, as described above.

7. Public & Social Content

Depending on your settings and the features you use, your profile, username, photo, posts, uploads, comments, likes, streaks and leaderboard placement may be visible to other users. Other users may be able to view, screenshot, save or re-share content you post. Please only post content you are comfortable sharing.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including safety and abuse prevention, security, legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and maintaining backups. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9. Your Choices & Rights

  • Access and correct most profile information directly in the app.
  • Control age-appropriate content settings and blocked users in Settings.
  • Delete individual posts, uploads, comments and messages you created.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including rights to know, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise a right, email section8ight31@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity, typically by confirming control of the email address on the account.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app at Settings > Account > Delete Account. Full web instructions are available at /account-deletion. You may also email a deletion request to section8ight31@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Limited information may be retained as described in Data Retention.

11. Children & Minors

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users who are under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian where required.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, email section8ight31@gmail.com with the account username or email. We will review the report, remove qualifying information and terminate the account where appropriate.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport and restricted database access rules. However, no system or method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

13. U.S. & International Processing

The Service is operated from the United States and information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

14. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, may give you the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use and disclose.
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request a portable copy of your personal information.

  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

These rights are subject to verification and to exceptions permitted by law. Submit requests to section8ight31@gmail.com.

15. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers in functional categories such as hosting and databases, authentication and sign-in, file storage and delivery, email delivery, AI processing, analytics and crash reporting, and security. The Service may also link to or embed third-party websites and stores; those sites are governed by their own privacy policies. We will update this Policy as our integrations and providers are finalized.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
